Last Friday, two sets of vertical sidewall belt conveyor and associated spare parts were loaded to three containers and delivered from Qingdao port to destination port: Surabaya port, Indonesia.

The conveyors are used for calcined petroleum coke with density of 0.85t/m3, while the max. Material size is 75mm. After take all requirements into consideration, PK engineers configured a vertical belt conveyor with model DJB10063-9m to achieve 8 tons capacity per hour, belt speed is 1.25m/s, using rubber belt EP200 B1000x(5+1)(4+2)-S200-150-TC180-250-550, meanwhile, an external motorized pulley is used as driving unit and equipped with backstop.

According to customer’s requirement, the vertical segment and upper horizontal segment are equipped with whole sealing cover. For safety device, two deviation switches and two pull switches are provided.

Sidewall belt conveyors are the best solution for horizontal, sloping or vertical product transport. It adopts high quality conveyor belt with corrugated sidewall and horizontal baffle. Sidewall belt conveyor is widely applied in coal and wood-chip fired power stations, underground mining (coal and ore),steel industry, ship loading and unloading, foundry plants, silo feeding industry, waste recycling, soil purification and water treatment, etc.
