Yesterday, a U type screw conveyor ordered by our regular American customer was finished production and package and dispatched to Detroit Port, Michigan.
U type screw conveyor, also called trough screw conveyor, which is a continuous conveying equipment which used to transport powder, granular and dry bulk materials. For this project, the screw conveyor is used to transport 25tons limestone powder per hour, bulk density 1.28t/m3, and it is required to be installed horizontally, make sure the center distance from inlet to outlet 15m.

According to client’s requirement, PK Machinery engineer configured model LS315-15 to fit the system, and make the screw pitch 250mm to meet client’s specific requirement and adopt SEW gearmotor with power 11kw, energy efficiency IE3 to improve equipment driving performance.
Trough Screw Conveyor consists of bearing seat, screw blade, screw shaft, hang bearing, conveyor casing and driven device,etc. Single or combination of multiple screw equipment can be used to integrate with each other to meet particular on-site requirements.
