Last week, a set of GTS 20100 trommel screen ordered by Indonesian client was finished packing and dispatched to the destination port, Jakarta.

This drum screen is used to 20-25 tons of process bark chipper and sand soil, small stone per hour, four segments screen mesh with mesh size 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm are required by client, after knowing well of client’s specific requirement, PK Machinery engineer configured model GTS 20100 and SEW brand driving unit with power 18.5kw to fit the project, drum diameter is 2m, drum length is 10m.

Drum screen has wide range of sizes and capacities, it is a mechanical screening machine used to separate materials. It consists of a perforated cylindrical drum that is normally elevated at an angle at the feed end, motor, reduction unit, screen frame and sealing cover. When materials flow towards along the inclined rotating drum, materials jump and roll, the undersized material smaller than the screen apertures passes through the screen, while the oversized material exits at the other end of the drum.
