1.Actuating device

Normally, the driving device of portable belt conveyor can be divided into three kinds:

a.Cycloidal gear reducing motor

The cycloidal gear reducing motor is working with the sprocket wheel to realize driving and reducing speed. This kind of motor has an advantage of simple configuration, easy maintenance and low expenditure. The customer whose budget is limited can consider about this kind of motor, but this kind of motor has a shortcoming: it needs large space.

b.K-hollow shaft gear motor

K-hollow shaft gear motor is convenient to be mounted and the space usage is small. However, its cost is very expensive as well as the maintenance expenditure is big.

c.Motorized pulley

Given the motorized pulley, the motor is directly configured inside or outside of the pulley, which realizes the integration of motor&pulley in shape and appearance. It reduces much occupation space. What is more important, the cost of motorized pulley is cheap, especially for the customer who need short transferring distance and small handling capacity, it’s properer to select this configuration.

2.Belt

Owing to the dip angle of portable belt conveyor, some conveyed materials with small natural slope angle will glide down on the belt surface. In this situation, please adopt the figured-belt whose figure will increase the friction between the belt surface and conveyed materials to attain the conveying object.
 

3.Carrying roller groups

For bulk materials, it’s proper to select 30°or 35°groove angle carrying roller groups. For bags products such as fertilizer bags or cement bags, it’s proper to select V-shaped or parallel roller groups.

4.Middle frame

The middle frame of portable belt conveyor can be divided into the heavy kind and the light kind.

The heavy kind is much more compact and bearing capacity is large as well. So it consists of more steel material, which makes the total weight much heavier. It’s mainly used in large capacity conveying and long distance transferring.
 

The light kind is only made up of box iron and the weight is very light. It’s mainly applied in small capacity and short distance conveying.
